HEALTHY STRUCTURAL BALANCED LIVING!

Casa Pacifica Men’s sober living mentorship program works with individual residents to develop a fully customized plan that completely integrates treatment, aftercare, and recovery support resources to our residents, which results in an optimum, meaningful experience and changes the outcomes in their new lives. Our services cover sober companionship, coaching, and mentorship for those who are recovering from addiction to alcohol and other drugs.

A Proven Framework for Success

Building a life in recovery takes far more than simply stopping the use of drugs or alcohol—it requires learning to live differently. True recovery means developing healthy daily habits, embracing real accountability, connecting with a supportive community, and continuously taking action toward growth. At Casa Pacifica, our program is rooted in a structured framework designed to help men rebuild their lives intentionally. These core pillars—routine, accountability, peer support, emotional stability, and community involvement—create a foundation where long-term sobriety can truly thrive.

Our program is built on core pillars that support that kind of transformation:

1. 100% Accountability to Staff & House Managers

Every resident is accountable to the house managers, case managers and staff—no exceptions. This level of oversight means:

  • Daily check-ins with house management
  • Clear expectations around behavior, chores, curfews, and community standards
  • Written house guidelines that every resident signs
  • Immediate follow-up if any rule is broken

This foundation of accountability combined with our core offerings, ensures residents don’t drift into old patterns of isolation or avoidance but stay engaged, visible, and responsible.

2. Daily Drug & Alcohol Testing

Sobriety is verified, not assumed. Our daily testing protocols:

  • Random or scheduled testing each morning
  • Breathalyzers, urine screens, or other appropriate methods
  • Quick access to results and charting
  • Zero tolerance for use; immediate intervention if testing is failed

Frequent testing reinforces honesty, transparency, and the value of trust—not just with staff, but within the resident community itself.

3. Gym Membership

Physical health supports recovery. Each resident receives a full-access gym membership that helps:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety through exercise
  • Improve sleep, mood, and overall well-being
  • Promote connection through shared workouts and group fitness classes
  • Create structure around morning or evening routines

We encourage residents to treat the gym like a recovery meeting—with the same respect and regularity.

4. AA, CA & NA Meeting Attendance Sheets

Recovery isn’t done in isolation. Our program includes:

  • A documented schedule of meeting attendance
  • Signature sheets or digital check-in for accountability
  • Support connecting with local meetings in AA, CA, or NA
  • Mentors and sponsors helping guide meeting work

Tracking attendance reinforces the importance of fellowship, service, and peer support as key drivers of long-term sobriety.

5. Personalized Weekly Schedules

Structure matters. Every resident receives a personalized weekly schedule customized to their needs. This schedule includes:

  • Meetings and peer support times
  • Gym sessions, recreation, recovery assignments
  • House responsibilities and community service
  • Counseling or coaching appointments (if applicable)
  • Individual goals (job, education, health, family)

A personalized schedule helps turn recovery into a manageable, organized routine—not a vague promise.

6. Transportation to Meetings & Events

One barrier to recovery is lack of access. Casa Pacifica Sober Living provides reliable transportation for residents:

  • Scheduled rides to local meetings, fellowship events, or community service activities
  • Support for getting to treatment appointments or sober housing visits
  • Safe and supervised trips for meetings in nearby beach towns or throughout North County

This ensures logistics don’t become a roadblock to consistent recovery activity.

7. Sponsor-Finding Assistance

Having a sponsor is a pivotal part of recovery. Our program offers:

  • Referrals to local, experienced sponsors
  • Guidance on choosing a sponsor who fits your goals and personality
  • Support contacting and setting up your first meetings with the sponsor
  • Tracking initial sponsor-related tasks (phone calls, shared service work)

Finding the right sponsor early strengthens your pathway to long-term support and accountability.

8. Engagement in the Coastal Sober Community

Location matters—and living in North County, near the coast, opens doors. Our program helps residents:

  • Explore local beach-town recovery events and sober outings
  • Join sober lifestyle groups (surf, yoga, hiking, beach service)
  • Build friendship networks outside of the house that support recovery
  • Connect with recovery-minded professionals, meet-ups, and service groups

We believe the environment can support transformation—and a healthy, sober community near the ocean is powerful.

9. Progress Reports to Probation & Family

Transparency is key when there is legal or familial involvement. Casa Pacifica provides:

  • Weekly written progress reports that include meeting attendance, drug testing results, house compliance, and overall engagement
  • Reports shared with probation officers or family members as required
  • Regular check-ins with case managers to discuss concerns, achievements, or changes

These measures build confidence for families, courts, and the resident in their recovery pathway.

10. Weekly Sober Living Home Meetings at Casa Pacifica

Community accountability comes full circle with our in-house weekly gatherings. These meetings include:

  • All-resident attendance
  • Progress sharing, wins, challenges, and peer mentorship
  • Workshop-style modules on topics like emotional sobriety, relapse triggers, service, job readiness
  • Fellowship dinners and structured social time

This is where residents connect, reflect, and recommit—building culture and community inside the home.

Why This Level of Structure Works

Recovery is vulnerable without structure. Research and experience show that individuals who receive recovery coaching, consistent accountability, peer support, routine, meaningful engagement, and case management at a structured sober living with a strong mission and philosophy have significantly higher rates of success. At Casa Pacifica, we turn vague “hope” into tangible daily action so that each resident can rebuild a life worth living.
